But is it right for your business?

What We Like about the CRYO XC™

It offers a ‘dry cool’ for a safer, more comfortable experience. Excess moisture in a cryotherapy cabin can be irritating and even dangerous, which is why we appreciate the ‘dry cool’ of the CRYO XC™. Even as internal temperatures reach a downright arctic -300ºF, you and your customers can breathe easy knowing that everyone is safe. Meanwhile, optional accessories—such as a removable platform for clients of varying heights, or a protective collar that blocks gases from reaching the user’s head—make this one of the safest nitrogen-based systems on the market.

It’s easy to install and use. As every business owner knows, time is money, so it’s good to see a machine that’s designed for quick installation and ease of use. The machine’s unique pivoting cabin doors give it a lower footprint, allowing it to fit into even the most limited spaces, while the touchscreen controls are so intuitive that operators will be able to get started with ease.

It’s powerful. In terms of temperature, the CRYO XC™ is leagues ahead of most all-electric machines. It’s even more powerful than many nitrogen-based systems of its class. For example, the °CRYO Arctic™ (a nitrogen/electric hybrid) reaches -220ºF, while the CRYO XC™ is capable of plunging up to 80 degrees colder.

It’s connected. The machine’s built-in Wi-Fi capabilities allow for remote diagnostics, smoother servicing and active assistance.

Our engineers have found plenty to like about the CRYO XC™, from its low footprint to its ‘dry cool.’ But every business is different, and this machine isn’t the right fit for everyone.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

Safety. When it comes to cryotherapy machines, safety is always one of our first considerations—as it should be, when dealing with any machine, particularly when those machines expose people to sub-arctic temperatures.

How does the CRYO XC™ shape up? As far as nitrogen-based systems, this is among the safest, thanks to its low-humidity chamber, easy-to-use interface, automatic shut-off, ventilation and optional safety features, like the removable platform and protective collar that we mentioned above. (We recommend using the collar as frequently as possible—and the platform when appropriate—as inhaling nitrogen gases can be dangerous.)

Whole-body vs. ‘almost’ whole-body. While many machines claim to offer whole-body cryotherapy, in truth, many only offer therapy below the neck, due to the dangers of nitrogen exposure. For most of your customers, treatment below the neck is plenty. However, some prefer a truly whole-body experience, in which case they (and you) should look to an electric alternative.
